Our ambition and aim for EDI

Our ambition: to support more inclusive research at the King’s Clinical Research Facility, which is undertaken by diverse research teams, and shaped by a diverse public involvement group.

Our aim: to raise awareness of the importance of EDI, and to ensure that appropriate resources and training are available and accessible to all staff at the King’s Clinical Research Facility.

Our ambition and aim are built on and in line with the NIHR’s EDI Strategy for 2022-2027 [1]. Their strategy outlines the need for people from diverse backgrounds in the research talent pipeline, and the need for appropriate training, resources, guidance, and support to embed EDI within research cultures.
