Hitesh has an MSc in Mathematics. After having provided software and database analytics, design, development, implementation and reporting services for various sectors, he joined the SLaM Business Intelligence Team in 2010 to provide database extraction services for a range of projects.

Since 2012, as a Clinical Informatician at the NIHR Maudsley Biomedical Research Centre (BRC), he provides advanced data extraction services from CRIS and externally-linked databases for senior researchers, clinical academics and bio-informaticians and helps develop new methods of utilising clinical data for research purposes.
