Eugenia obtained her BSc in Sciences and Techniques of Clinical and Health Psychology at the University of Pisa, Italy, under the Faculty of Medicine, where she also completed her in MSc in Clinical and Health Psychology. She obtained her accreditation as a psychologist from the University of Padua, Italy, and completed her PhD on the role of weight perception and weight stigma concerns in relationship to health behaviours and psychological well-being at the University of Liverpool, UK.

 

She joined King's College London in 2020 as a research associate in the Department of Psychological Medicine, within the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology & Neuroscience. Her projects focus on severe mental health, multimorbidity and health inequalities, with a personal interest in stigma and obesity. She is also a member of the NIHR Maudsley Biomedical Research Centre (BRC), working with Natural Language Processing (NLP) experts on the development and management of NLP applications for BRC research projects.
