Amelia has a BSc (Hons) in Psychology from Bath Spa University and an MSc in Forensic Mental Health Research from the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology and Neuroscience, King’s College London. In 2015, she joined the NIHR Maudsley BRC as the Clinical Data Linkage Service (CDLS) Lead, her role involved managing the CDLS service, including project managing CRIS Data Linkages.

In her current role as Research Informatics and Governance Lead, Amelia is responsible for managing all aspects of the CRIS Research Informatics Service and the Clinical Data Linkage Service (CDLS). The CRIS Research Informatics Service provide a range of services designed to support users throughout the life span of their CRIS project, from initial interest through to data extraction and processing, including the ability to support bespoke output and analysis. The CDLS was established with the key objective of improving secondary uses of day-to-day clinical data from different data sources for observational research. The service acts as a trusted third party that provides a safe haven service for Kings Health Partners (KHP) and beyond with relevant processing capabilities, appropriate information governance and security arrangements to provide linkage between different data sources.
