Niamh has a BSc (Hons) in Economics from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). Alongside working as an analyst at NHS England on the NHS Graduate Management Training Scheme, Niamh completed a PgDip in Health Data Analytics at UCL and the Elizabeth Garret Anderson Programme (PgCert in Healthcare Leadership at the University of Birmingham).

In 2024, Niamh joined the Clinical Informatics Service as a Visualisation Developer. Her role involves translating user requirements into interactive visualisations to deliver critical clinical intelligence. She works with data modellers and technical teams to support data flow and modelling, engages with stakeholders for user acceptance testing, and collaborates with the BRC’s natural language processing (NLP) team to support the delivery of text-heavy records into meaningful and accessible data and visualisations.
